Tracing its roots to 1941, the Boca Raton Airport originated as the Boca Raton Army Airfield, the sole training station for airborne radar during World War II. As such, it was instrumental in shaping the defense capabilities of the nation.

Today, the Boca Raton Airport is a major economic asset for the area, contributing an estimated $693 million annually. Our dedicated community initiatives, such as the annual food drive in partnership with Boca Helping Hands, underscore our unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of our city and its residents.

As we chart a course for the coming years, increased focus will be given to the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and other industry innovations, doubling down on our role as a leader in aviation.
