Annual Back to School Supply Drive with the Spirit of Giving Network
The Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA) hosted its Seventh Annual Back to School Supply Drive to benefit Spirit of Giving Network’s Back to School Bash. Several airport tenants, including Boomers, Atlantic Aviation, Signature Aviation, Privaira, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Reliable Jet Maintenance, FARDA (Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority), and Civil Air Patrol, helped collect school supplies for the drive. The drive was a tremendous success as the Boca Raton Airport Authority and airport tenants collected five large boxes filled with various school supplies.
“Now in our seventh year, we are grateful to our tenants and the community who come together for our Back to School Supply Drive to make sure that children in Palm Beach County start their academic school year with the necessary tools for success.,” said BRAA Executive Director Clara Bennett. “I am grateful that each year the Airport and our tenants are part of such a wonderful community that continues to make this drive a success every year.”
To commemorate the success of the B2S Supply Drive, the BRAA organized an Appreciation Ice Cream Social as a gesture of gratitude towards all those who contributed to the drive. Attendees, including airport staff, tenants, and esteemed BRAA Board members, enjoyed sweet treats and celebrated their collective achievements. The BRAA remains devoted to cultivating a sense of unity within the community and looks forward to future opportunities to support causes that uplift and enrich the community.
