Airport Executive and Authority Board Officers rolled up their sleeves to help in the community.
Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County’s “CEO Build” fundraising event celebrates and harnesses the unstoppable power of corporate leaders to come together to help transform their community by helping and working alongside local, hard working, low-income families with a hand up, not a hand out to build a safe, decent and affordable place to call home.
This year Exective Director, Clara Bennett and Authority Board Vice-Chair Cheryl Budd, and Secretary & Treasurer Randy Nobles joined Habitat for Humanity in raising money and helping build a home for the Antoine Family. The CEO build portion of the event took place November 3rd and 4th.
Airport volunteers had time to meet and build alongside the family in the construction process and have some fun while Helping Our Community Soar.
With almost 70 participants in this years build, over $140,000 has been raised for the charitable organization.
