Boca Raton Airport Authority Celebrates It’s Sixth Successful Back-to-School Supply Drive with an Ice Cream Social
The Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA) is proud to announce the resounding success of its Sixth Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, held in collaboration with the Spirit of Giving. This year’s event garnered overwhelming support from BRAA tenants, local businesses, and the community, resulting in a remarkable display of unity and generosity.
BRAA tenants, including Atlantic Aviation, Boomers, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Reliable Jet Maintenance, Signature Flight Support, and Privaira, joined forces with other local businesses and community members to raise approximately $15,000 in donated goods. Notably, ADT made three separate donations, contributing an estimated value of $10,000.
The Boca Raton Airport Authority hosted an Appreciation Ice Cream Social, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Back-to-School Supply Drive’s success. Over 100 attendees, including airport staff, tenants, and esteemed BRAA Board members—Bob Tucker, Jim Nau, Mel Pollack, and Gene Folden—enjoyed sweet treats and celebrated the collective achievements.
The combined efforts of the attendees, donors, and volunteers ensure that students in need will have access to essential school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and hygiene products, setting them up for a successful academic journey.
