1982 – THE BOCA RATON AIRPORT AUTHORITY IS ESTABLISHED

The Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA) Board was established by the state legislature to independently manage the Airport’s operations. The original BRAA Board was composed of five members, including WWII Bomber Pilot George Blank.
