Hurricane Irma is expected to impact the South Florida area this upcoming weekend, with tropical storm forced winds expected to begin as early as Friday. While the exact location of landfall is unknown, extremely high winds, heavy thunderstorms, and rain can be expected throughout the area.

Boca Raton Airport users and tenants should take this time to ensure that all areas are free of debris and all aircraft are securely tied down, hangered, or relocated.

Please be advised that Standard Operating Procedures call for the airport to close when winds are maintained in excess of 35 mph.

Please check NOTAMs for the latest closure and airport condition information.
