On October 31st, Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA) staff members paid a special Halloween visit to the Airport’s land and airside tenants.
BRAA Finance and Administration Manager, Ariadna Camilo and Business Manager, Christine Landers delivered candy to all of the tenants as a way to thank and engage with everyone who works on Airport property.
“This is our way of getting out and visiting tenants with a little treat and no tricks,” said BRAA Executive Director, Clara Bennett. “It’s a great way to show our appreciation and to meet with tenants who may not have ever met any of the administrative staff.”
Camilo and Landers delivered candy to the aviation related tenants that they work with on a daily basis, including Air Traffic Control, Atlantic Aviation, Boca Aircraft Maintenance, Lynn University, Reliable Jet Maintenance, Privaira, and Signature Flight Support. But the treats dont just stop at the end of the runway. The 2 continued on to the land side tenants located off of the airstrip, such as Boomers!, Tilted Kilt, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Cinemark Palace 20, City Furniture, and Mattress Firm.
“Handing out candy is a fun way to meet and engage with tenants we don’t have an opportunity to work with every day,” said Bennett. “We have a very diverse tenant base, so this kind of engagement is crucial to lay the groundwork for larger projects in the future.”
Throughout the Airport’s 70 years of service, the Airport has positioned itself as an invaluable community partner and an asset for Boca Raton, both through small acts like handing out candy, to highly impactful charitable events and philanthropic efforts. As the Airport continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary, it looks forward to increasing engagement and strengthening bonds amongst its tenants and the communities in and around Boca Raton.
